Happy Sunshines!

It's summertime and my favrit thing to do around my howse now is sleep in the sunshine. I also liek to keep my Mommie company when she is playing on her compooter. She has a big chair with a high back, and I jump up there from the floor and say hello, at least once a day. Some days she doesn't mind, other days she jumps and looks scairt because she didn't know I was even in the same room! I liek those days... hee hee!

The Boy and the Girl are both getting furry big now. The Girl hasn't figgurred out yet that I don't like hard pats, so I've had to teach her a couple of lessons. She'll get the idea soon enuff. Mommie always backs me up when that happens too, so that's good. That's about all fur now, there's a sunshiny place wif my name on it!

It has beened a long time since my mommie writed here for me. She says sorries sorries! Some of the beans at her work place don't work there no more, so she has had to work more and more to do their stuffs too. Some days she just comes home and sleeps, then has dinners, then sleeps some more. I telled her that I would come an' help, but she said that I would get too distracted by all the tasty meats and forget what I was apposed ta be doing. I has been feeling pretty frisky lately. There is more of the warm sunshine, and yesterday my daddie even opened the big door to the outside, and all these nice smells started coming in the howse. I was so excited that I started running from one end of the howse to the ofur, back and forth and back and forth! Spring is in the air!

Strangeness

The tree is gone now. No moar strings, no more paper to roll around in.. sigh. My howse is back to its boringest old self now. My mommie has founded me some new toys though.. she says they are "bottle caps", but all I know is dat they are round, and roll very good, and I can get some good distance on 'em when I give 'em a thwap. 'Specially on the shiny floors. Haha, there goes one now! I's on it!

So it is dat time of yeer when my beans start acktin all crazy-liek. They put a tree in the howse. A TREE. And they won' let me clime on it neifur. Den they put all this sparklie stuffs on it. Big rownd things dat look liek toys to me, and looooong sparklie strings. I's not aloud to play wif those eifur. Sometimes I get the strings off the tree, and I eat 'um, just to show my beans who is King Cat around this howse. But sometimes the strings don't stay in my tummy. Then I REALLY get in trubble. What's a cat to do?

My sisfur

I had many brofurs when I was borned, but only one sisfur. My brofurs all went to live at other howses when they were small, but my sisfur Lucky stayed wif me for a furry long time. She left my howse when the Boy came, I think because the changes in the howse did not agree with her. She started getting furry scairt, and would hide around the howse and make messes outside of our box. One day my mommie went outside and left the door opened. Lucky went out too, and never camed back. Daddie gaved her a good name, though, because my aunt Sara founded her and tooked her to her howse. So now she lives wif them, and I think she is a happier kitty because of it, though I miss her sometimes. Here is a pikshur of me and Lucky in our old howse, before she moved away.

From bloggyworld, that is! Many sorries... my mommie has beened sooper busy at her work place and has barely had time for her own bloggie, much less mines. I've been having some fun at my howse lately though. 'Member when I said I was a hero and I was going to get a present? My mommie wented to DKM's bloggie and found her pattern for making squiggles, and she made me one! It's not as pretty and fluffy as DKM's ones, but it's still pretty darned fun to play wif. I toled my mommie she just needs some praktise wif making the squiggles, so she should make some more until she can make pretty fluffy ones too! I'm sneaky like that, hehe!

I saw on the Cat Blogosphere page that it's Pirate day for cats.. well, I'm not much of a pirate cat, but my mommie is a pirate person! She didn't even know it was Pirate day, but she did a Wordless Wednesday post about one of her favorite pirates, Captain Jack Sparrow! Yeowrrrrrrrrrr! Yo Ho Ho and a bottle of milk, me mateys!

Today, my mommie says I'ms a hero!

See, my mommie has a little box on her bed that makes horribul noises in the morning times. A lot of the time, it makes noises before the sun has even woked up! Today was one of those times. Yoosually when I hear those noises, it means my mommie has got out of bed, and it's my duty as King Cat to tell her good morning and give her snuggles and generally get under her feet to help her welcome the day. This morning I heered the noises, but my mommie stayed in bed. I knowed that she had to get out of the bed, so she could go to her work place, so I took matters into my own paws. I jumped up on the bed and gave her morning snuggles, and lots of nosekisses. She moved around a little bit, but still did not get up, so I gave her even MORE nosekisses. She petted me on the head and looked at the little box, and made the noise that means "OH NO!" She telled me that if I had not gived her those nosekisses, she would have gotten to her work place late, and gotted in trouble. So today I am her hero! She sez that she will get me some special treats to say thank you... I hope she finds me some squiggles, they look like lots of fun! But of corse I would settle for some nip or tasty cat treets. One must be gracious to the subjects after all!

I just can't say it enuff, thank you furry much to everyone who came ofur to my internets howse yesterday and today! So many new furriends to visit and get to know, I am a-mayzed. I shood haf knowned though. My peeple mommie has so many bean furriends that she made on her blog, of corse there are going to bee many cat furriends (and bean furriends) for me too!

For efurryone who was aksking about my black whiskers, my mommie sez that if you klick on the pitcher of me in my box, it gets furry much biggers, and you can see them on there.

This is an older pitcher of me, my Peeple Mommie taked it when I had just woked up from a nice nap. I think it's a bit silly, becoz one of my eyes is still stuck shut from sleepies! I was a little embarrassed for her to take the pitcher, but she was showing off my hansumness, so I just couldn't say no! One of the fancy things about tabbie cats is the stripes on the tops of their heads. Usually they make the letter M, but if you look realy close at my pitcher, you see mines make the letter W. W for Wunnerful, of corse! I also have several black whiskers, and I have heard that those are unyoosual in cats wif no black furs. So what do you think, internets peeple? Am I hansum or what???

Hai.. my name is Oliver. I am a orange tabbie cat an' I liv in a big howse wif two big peeples and two little peeples. And a fluffy black and white not-a-cat that the big peeples call a bum.. bon.. bunnie. Ya, dat's it, a bunnie. The biggest peeple is my Daddie, I have lived wif him since I was borned in 2001. The second-biggest peeple is my Peeple Mommie (not my reel mommie, becoz my reel mommie is a cat, of corse). She has lived in my howse for almost my whole life. The two little peeples are the Boy and the Girl. The Boy has lived wif me for four years, and the Girl for one and a half years. They were about as big as me when they first came to my howse, but they are now lots biggers than me. Sometimes they pull my tail and pet me too hard, but my Daddie and Peeple Mommie tell them to pet me nice becoz I am olders than them and I was here first anyway, so there.

So this is my blog, I had my Peeple Mommie make it for me today. I have been sitting on her laps a lot when she plays on her compooter, and I think I finally got through to her that I want to be on the internets too. I hope I will make manny furriends on the internets, becoz while being the King Cat around my howse is nice, having no subjects besides the peeples and the bunnie can get a little lonely. I don't have a pitcher of me yet, but my Peeple Mommie says she'll put one soon.
